Our Projects:

1. Establish NCLP school under the National Child Labour project, Govt. of India.

2. Establish Bridge School unde the Rajiv Vidya Mission, Govt. of India.

Computer Training Centre:

Jana Chaitanya Samithi started its computer centre in 2009 as a vocational course for capacity of building among woman and training students one year course of MS.Office, and three months course of DTP, Tally and also provide placements of students in jobs.

Mobilising the Savings : Micro credit programme

Jana Chaitanya Samithi moblise the savings and formation of SHGs with women. To provide the financial support for eradicate the poverty in rural area women and also conduct the Leadership training programmes with SHG women

Formation and Strengthening of women groups:

The organization has formed 42 groups and also conducted Leadership training programmes and book keeping training programmes for strengthening of women groups.

Important issues addressed by Jana Chaitanya Samithi over the years are:

Violence against women.

Environmental conservation and preservation.

HIV/AIDS : Care and Prevention.

Gender discrimination.

Micro credit programmes.

Water and sanitation.

Other activities of the society in rural area:

Tailoring Centre

Jana Chaitanya Samithi started its tailoring centre at Tadikonda Mandal of Guntur District. To develop the skill and eradicate the poverty through this programme. And also buildup the capacity and give the training in the period of course.

Establish the Bridge School for child labour:

Jana Chaitanya Samithi establish the Bridge School for child labourers at Atchampet Mandal of Guntur District. To give the shelter for children and give the education. After one year to join the Child Labour in Govt. Hostels. To eradicate the child labours through this programme

Establish the child labour school for child labour children:

Jana Chaitanya Samithi establish the child labour school for child labour children at the Turakapalem village of Kolluru Mandal of Guntur District. To give the education and skill development trainings for children. To eradicate the child labours through this programme.

Financial support for educational promotional among Marginalised Communities:

Jana Chaitanya Samithi support the scholarships to poor students at Pedakurapadu collaboration with KVP. The organization distributed the education books tostudents among the marginalized communities.

Education for tri bal children:

Education Centres established at Amaravathi Mandal for tribal children. This tribals are no awareness on education, health, our organization started education centres for tribals.

Health Camps:

Jana Chaitanya Samithi conducted regular health camps in our workingarea. In our area budigi Janga community is very high. They have no awareness on Health. Our organization mainly conduct the health camps on that community. Distribute the medicines at free of cost.

HIV/AIDS Awareness Camps:

Jana Chaitanya Samithi conducted the Awareness camps on HIV/AIDS for the prevention and control of prevailing HIV/AIDS Village Level Meetings conducted monthly twice. And also conducted training programmes on HIV/AIDS with the Animators and community leaders

Certification Camp for Physically challenged people

Jana Chaitanya Samithi conducted Certification Camp for physically challenged children at Pedakurapadu and Amarthaluru Mandals. Govt. Doctors are test the handicapped people and give the certificates with percentage. They use that certificate to bring the pension from the Government

  • Conducted regular Eye Camps and Cataract surgeries at our working area. The NGO conducted 39 eye camps since 1992. Nearly 2132 old people are benefited by these camps.

  8. Running of old age home & orphanage homes for old age people and orphan people.
  9. Relief Activities.

To motivate the people to work for the protection of health, education, social issues, economic development and bring the unity and create equality in the prevailing society for the better development and strong formation of our nation.

Mission

Jana Chaitanya Samithi was registered in 1992 under Societies Registration Act XXI of 1860(No.28 of 1992) and also registered under Foreign Contribution Regulation Act, 1976 and its Number 010190253 dated 28 November 2001.

ABOUT US

Jana Chaitanya Samithi (JCS) is a non-profit making voluntary organization registered in the year 1992. Since then the orgnisation has been working around Pedakurapadu, Amaravathi, Atchampet, Gurajala and Nizampatnam Mandals among the poorer segments of the Society of Guntur District of Andhra Pradesh.
